Privacy policy for Quiet Proof

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Quiet Proof does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

What the app stores

Nothing you write is ever uploaded. There is no account to create, no server to sign in to, and no analytics or crash reporting service in the app. It makes no network requests at all, and declares no internet permission, so it is not technically capable of sending your entries anywhere.

Everything you write, your entries and any letters you seal, is stored in a database file on your own device.

The only way your words move is if you move them.

Moving to a new phone

The app is not backed up to Google Drive. That is switched off deliberately, so your entries are never copied to anyone's servers, including Google's.

When you set up a new phone, Android may carry an app's data across as part of that setup, directly between the two devices. Whether it does so for this app depends on your phone's manufacturer, and we cannot promise it either way. Where it happens, that is your own data moving between your own devices. It never reaches us or anyone else.

Because of that, if your archive matters to you, use Save a copy in Settings and keep the file somewhere you trust.

When you choose to share

The app can export your entries as a plain text file, and your Book as a PDF. These are created on your device and handed to your phone's own share sheet, or saved to a folder you pick. Where they go from there is entirely your choice, and anything you send to another app or service is then covered by that service's privacy policy rather than this one.

Notifications

If you seal a letter, the app asks permission to send you a local notification when it comes due. That notification is scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. It never contains the text of the letter.

Who else is involved

Nobody. There is no analytics service, no crash reporter, no advertising network, no tracker of any kind, and no third party that receives anything from this app. There is no purchase to make inside it, so there is no payment processor either.

That list is empty rather than short. An app with no internet permission has no way to hand your data to anyone, and this one does not ask for that permission.

If you also use Tiny Doors, the other app from the same developer, that changes nothing here. The two share no data and cannot read each other.

Deleting your data

You can delete any entry from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes its database and everything in it. Because nothing is ever sent to us, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf and no request process to follow.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version is posted at this address with a new date at the top.

Contact

Quiet Proof is published by TekiTana, and written by Zlatan Cvetkovski. You can write to privacy@tinydoors.life, or reach the developer through the app's page on Google Play, where a contact address is listed.

There is nothing to request and nothing to delete on your behalf, because nothing you write is ever sent to us.
